On November 5, Omron, who participated in the CIIE for the fourth year, once again brought an evolved version of the FORPHEUS table tennis robot.

According to Wu Hong from the Social Solutions Division of Omron's China Headquarters, compared with last year's version, the robot has been fully upgraded on the software level-not only can observe, think, but also introspect.

First of all, a robot can play doubles with two players. The robot relies on the camera on the body to capture the player's physiological information, such as the degree of smile, blinks, heart rate, etc., to change its own movement mode.

Secondly, the equipment supports self-diagnosis, which can monitor the movement status through sensors, and truly realizes self-diagnosis and maintenance without relying on professional and technical personnel.
