A 39-year-old male employee who worked for a major courier company, Sagawa Express, committed suicide in June, and the company apologized to the bereaved family after admitting that there was power harassment from his boss.

The company commented, "We will do our utmost to prevent recurrence."

A 39-year-old male employee of "Sagawa Express" worked at a sales office in Tokyo and was in charge of driver management, but he committed suicide in June.

According to the explanation given by the company to the bereaved family based on external investigations, the man was often reprimanded by his boss, and the day before his death, his boss said, "How much do you lie. I can't work with you." He was standing in front of his desk at work for more than 40 minutes.

The man also told his wife, "I have too much work to do."

The company acknowledged that there was power harassment from its boss and apologized to the bereaved family for what seemed to be one of the causes of suicide.

The man's wife said, "I never dreamed that my husband, who said he was so cheerful and enjoyable at work, would never be like this. Never let this happen again so that this will never happen again. I want it. "

Sagawa Express commented, "We pray for the souls and extend our deepest sympathies to the bereaved families. We take this case seriously and will do our utmost to prevent recurrence."
