On November 4, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said in response to the US release of China's military power report that this report, like previous similar reports, ignores facts and is full of prejudice.

The U.S. use of the report to hype the "Chinese nuclear threat theory" is purely a trick of manipulating words and confuses the public. The international community is well aware of this.

In fact, the United States is the world's largest source of nuclear threat.

Wang Wenbin said that China urges the United States to earnestly assume its special and priority responsibility for nuclear disarmament, continue to substantially reduce its nuclear arsenal in a verifiable, irreversible, and legally binding manner, and maintain global strategic balance and stability.

Wang Wenbin stated that China has always firmly pursued a nuclear strategy of self-defense, actively advocated the ultimate complete prohibition and thorough destruction of nuclear weapons, and has always limited the scale of nuclear forces to the minimum level required for national security.

China abides by its policy of not being the first to use nuclear weapons at any time and under any circumstances, and has made a clear commitment to unconditionally not use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear-weapon states and nuclear-weapon-free zones.

As long as no country uses nuclear weapons against China, it will not be threatened by China's nuclear weapons.
