“According to information from regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day, November 2, 2021, ten forest fires have been extinguished in Russia by forest fire forces on an area of 606 hectares,” RIA Novosti reports from Avialesokhrana.
It is noted that by midnight on November 4, four forest fires were active in Russia on an area of 143 hectares, they were actively extinguished.
The largest area of fires was recorded in the Jewish Autonomous Region: there are three fires on an area of 140 hectares.
Earlier it was reported that federal funding for forest fire protection in Yakutia increased by more than 1 billion rubles.
