In just a few days, the Korean series Squid Game has become a global phenomenon, topping the most watched series on Netflix in 90 countries.

This ultra-violent program where players compete in children's games with deadly stakes, however, is inspired by reality like many other series before.
Class struggle, religion, corruption, technological upheaval ... punctuate the intrigues of our favorite series.
Because they capture our attention and fuel our reflections on society, series weave our daily lives.
Whether we watch them live on television, in replay or on video-on-demand platforms, series today constitute one of our main hobbies alone, with family or friends.
