The death of a passenger infected with “Corona” during a flight from Turkey to Germany
A passenger infected with corona died during a flight to Hamburg, Germany, and the crew did not notice the man's death until after the plane landed and the passengers had departed.
According to the Dutch news agency ANP and Euronews, the accident occurred last Sunday, on a flight between Istanbul, Turkey, and Hamburg, Germany.
The 51-year-old was traveling alone and was sitting by a window.
And the German newspaper Bild indicated that the passenger was fully vaccinated, and therefore he was allowed to board the plane and travel to Germany.
The newspaper adds, quoting a police source, that an investigation has been opened to reveal the cause of death, which may be natural.
Pending the completion of the investigations, the forensic doctors who examined the man's body said that he was infected with Covid-19, according to the same source, while German media indicated that he was one of the "at risk" patients.
