Sources in the Syrian Ministry of Interior stated that the girl was subjected to continuous torture by her father and stepmother, and the girl died as a result of the torture.
After his arrest with his wife, the father confessed that he severely beat his daughter, tied her hands and burned her, at the instigation of her stepmother, on the pretext that the girl was constantly soiling her clothes.
