The child (Rami - 13 years old) suffered from a severe headache accompanied by suffocation and the inability to breathe, after which he lost consciousness, and his father called an ambulance, and he was immediately transferred to the emergency department of a hospital in Dubai, and in the meantime his heart stopped and the ambulance crew tried to revive him, and the heart failure continued. An hour and 20 minutes, after which he fell into a coma, and remained in the intensive care unit for 81 days, during which he received the necessary medical care to save his life. Because of his heart failure for a long time, the child suffered brain damage.

The treatment bill amounted to 817,265 dirhams, and his father was unable to provide the amount, and he appeals to good people to help manage the cost of his son's treatment.

The medical report confirmed that (Rami) entered the hospital in a coma, after his heart stopped for more than an hour, and he stayed in the hospital for 81 days, and the cost of his treatment and stay in the hospital amounted to 817,265 dirhams.

Abu Rami told "Emirates Today" the story of his son's suffering with the disease, saying that (Rami) had a severe headache last Ramadan, and took him to a private clinic in Ajman, and the doctor reported that he was the result of fasting, and he was given medicines and painkillers.

He added that after a week, the headache returned again, and the doctor requested a CT scan, and the rays showed that he had inflammation in the nerve cells in the brain, as a result of a virus entering the blood, and its transmission to the brain, and the doctor advised to transfer him to a specialized hospital.

The father stated that he was transferred to a hospital in Al-Ain, so he went there, and after examining (Rami) he was transferred to the intensive care unit and stayed there for six days, after which he was transferred to a normal room, and his condition was diagnosed with inflammation of the neurons in the brain.

He pointed out that a month after (Rami) returned home, he began to feel ringing in the ear, and the treating doctor was contacted, and asked him to take his medicines regularly, and then (Rami) had a severe headache, so he took him immediately and went to the hospital, and on the way he lost (Ramy) Awareness.

And the father continued: "When my son fainted, I called the ambulance, a cardiac resuscitation was performed for my son, and an artificial respirator was placed, after his heart stopped for an hour and 20 minutes, and he was transferred to the nearest hospital."

He added that "(Rami) stayed in the hospital for 81 days in a coma, after suffering brain damage, and the treatment bill amounted to 817,265 dirhams."

He added that he is the sole breadwinner for his family of three, and he works as an employee in a private company in Sharjah, with a salary of 5,000 dirhams, from which he pays 2,000 dirhams for the rent of the house, and the rest of the salary to secure the requirements of daily life.

Aburami expressed his hope that the hands of philanthropists would extend their help to arrange the bill for Rami's treatment, so that he would not be subjected to imprisonment in the event of non-payment, and his family would be without a breadwinner.

The medical report, which "Emirates Today" obtained a copy of, stated that "the patient (Rami) entered the hospital on the ninth of last July, suffering from nervous system ischemia, herniation in part of the brain, pituitary insufficiency, and coma, after his heart stopped 80 minutes, and he was revived immediately, but he was in a coma, and he was transferred to the intensive care unit, to receive the necessary treatment for his health condition.”

The report added that, "After conducting many medical tests and analyzes, it was found that he was suffering from brain damage, because his heart stopped working, and the patient stayed in the hospital for 81 days."
