In late autumn, more than 100 square kilometers of primitive Populus euphratica forest along the Tarim River in Xinjiang ushered in the most beautiful season of the year.

  The golden Populus euphratica and the blue sky, deserts, water birds, and lakes complement each other. The beautiful scenery makes the tourists who are in it sing loudly and express their inner joy with singing.

  Tarim Populus euphratica National Forest Park is located in the middle reaches of the Tarim River on the northeastern edge of the Taklimakan Desert. It is the largest primitive Populus euphratica forest park in Xinjiang and the most concentrated area of ​​primitive Populus euphratica forest in the entire Tarim River Basin.

Every year when the best viewing season of Populus euphratica, a large number of tourists will come here.

  Through the efforts of recent years, large tracts of primitive Populus euphratica forests along the Tarim River have been gradually restored, and more than 300 kilometers of green corridors in the lower reaches of the river have come back to life.

The ever-improving ecological environment attracts more than 40 species of birds, including great egrets, bitters, black stork, and horned grebe.
