After a mild weekend in many places with temperatures of up to 20 degrees, November begins unstable and cool.

According to the German Weather Service (DWD), this is due to the low “Nael”, whose cold front will pass over Germany in the coming days.

"But it doesn't get much colder immediately, rather the maximum values go back a little every day," said a DWD meteorologist on Sunday in Offenbach.

For Monday, the DWD predicted maximum temperatures of nine to 15 degrees, on Wednesday seven to twelve degrees and on Thursday only six to ten degrees.

In addition, there is always light rain, especially in the southeast.

"So the autumn weather is right back in Germany," said the meteorologist.

Accordingly, temperatures plummet again at night: on Wednesday night it cools down to eight to two degrees, in the higher mountains the values fluctuate around freezing point.

The snow line drops to about 1200 meters.

On Thursday night there is light frost again in the higher mountains.
