Terrifying moments of a Belgian family on a drawbridge (video)
A Belgian family was terrified in their car after a drawbridge opened without warning to allow a ship to pass, while their car was traveling over the bridge.
A video spread on social media platforms globally documented the incident and the terrifying moment in which the bridge rose and the car and those in it got stuck on a bridge in Leuven on October 27.
The bridge began to open its gate without warning to allow a ship to pass, leaving the family stuck on the bridge.

The family of 3 was left trapped in their car, eventually freed by the fire service and taken to Gasthuisberg Hospital.
