According to the hospital, on the early morning of the 31st, there was a problem with the electronic medical record, and a large number of suspicious documents such as "Hacked and encrypted data. Please access the site to restore it" were printed in English. I did.



At the same time, the electronic medical record that recorded the patient's address and medical examination history became unusable, and the hospital reported the damage to the police, saying that it may have been infected with a ransom-requesting virus called "ransomware."



It is estimated that personal information for about 50,000 people is recorded in the electronic medical record, but it is not known at this time whether the information was leaked.



The hospital has stopped accepting emergency patients since the 31st, and will stop accepting new outpatients and inpatients after the 1st.



On the other hand, hospitalization of pregnant women and dialysis patients and vaccination with the new coronavirus will continue.
