A Kuwaiti media player challenges Lebanon's artists: Be boldly Elissa in her position on Qardahi

Kuwaiti media, Fajr Al-Saeed, sparked a wave of controversy after she challenged the Lebanese artists to be the bravest artist, Elissa, in which she attacked the statements of the Lebanese Minister of Information, George Kordahi.

Al-Saeed said in a tweet on her account on "Twitter": "I challenge all Lebanese artists who ate and drank in the Gulf, and made their fortunes from Gulf money ... Some of them are in Riyadh now to perform parties, to be boldly Elissa and make one statement against Qardahi or Hezbollah."

The Lebanese singer Elissa had made statements attacking Minister Qardahi, blaming him for the recent developments sparked by his recent stances and statements.

Elissa said: "George Qardahi... you have the responsibility of a country, who is full of statements that do not represent Lebanon's policy, step, or affiliation."

She wrote: “The people are paying the price of people without responsibility. They are now responsible for us.

They destroyed people's homes, they destroyed Lebanon, and you heard and turned to the region, and they are taking us by force into the bosom of Iran.

You are without dignity and without conscience.

You must resign today.”
