The house occupied by the Rose family in

Bienvenue Schitt's Creek

before going bankrupt cannot be found.

The property is up for sale again, but this time for $ 17.7 million.

A price much higher than the 11.8 million dollars displayed during a first release on the market in February, as ScreenRant recalls.

Nicknamed La Belle Maison, this huge villa located in the upscale neighborhood of St. Andrew-Windfields in Toronto has no less than 12 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms spread over two floors.

At first glance, this sumptuous residence looks like a French castle, and for good reason: the architect Van Lapoyan would have been inspired by Versailles to design the building built in 2012.

A brief appearance

Asked by CNBC, Robert Freedman, the attorney for the designer, pointed out the presence of the house in two episodes of

Welcome

to

Schitt's Cree

k, namely the very first and another containing a flashback in season 5. Started in 2015, the successful series created by Eugene and Dan Levy concluded at the end of the sixth season, winning no less than nine Emmy Awards.

It remains to be hoped that the future owners will not suffer the same setbacks as the Rose family!
