Earlier this week, HBO launched the new service HBO Max, which replaces HBO Nordic.

In addition to the offer changing with HBO Max, the price also changes.

The new monthly prices will be cheaper for everyone - but mostly for new customers.

For existing customers, the monthly price is reduced from SEK 109 to SEK 89.

New customers, on the other hand, receive the same subscription for SEK 44.50 a month - and the price applies as long as you are a subscriber, something Aftonbladet was the first to report.

"Completely backwards !!"

On the streaming service's Facebook page, many believe that the new prices are unfair.

“Why should loyal customers have to pay twice as much as those who provide the service now?

It's completely backwards !!

Do again do right!!"

writes a person.

"Why should I continue as a customer with you when you obviously do not appreciate the years I have been with you?"

asks another.

"We're sorry"

In an email to Kulturnyheterna, Karin Larsdotter, spokesperson for HBO Max, emphasizes that everyone gets a cheaper price than before.

She also writes:

"Of course, we apologize if some customers feel disappointed - with the above different options, we hope and believe that as many as possible should have the opportunity to explore HBO Max"
