The inauguration of the smart disinfection robot in the Grand Mosque
Today, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque launched the “smart disinfection robot”, which performs high-quality washing and disinfection of floors, for a period of four hours without any human intervention, and also uses cameras, ground and upper sensors, safety belts, and the feature of reading small and large objects. To prevent collision with people or ground obstacles.
The smart robot weighs (300) kilograms with a tank with a capacity of (68.14) liters for clean water (68.14) liters of water from the floors, and the width of one cleaning process is (51 cm) and the width of an area is (68 cm) and covers (2045.26) square meters per hour of work and dimensions, The speed ranges from 0 to 5 km per hour.
The robot is characterized by fast charging and energy-saving, and it has been equipped with eight cameras that work as LED sensors at an angle of (190) extending to (25) meters, sensors to read the surrounding area in three directions in the form of a rectangle, and sensors to read the surrounding area in two directions.
