SVT has reported that pictures and videos that are alleged to represent the murdered rapper abound online.

At the same time, intense rumors are circulating with serious criminal charges against named persons, including the murdered rapper.

Speculation has spread as far as the comment fields on Einár's own channels.

- It is speculation about artists or gangs that may have been involved in the murder, says music journalist Johannes Cakar.

The accusations have led to at least one rapper feeling compelled to go out on his channels and deny involvement in the murder.

- It is an incredible accusation to be singled out for such a serious crime, says Caspar Opitz, the public's media ombudsman.

Deletes accounts and cooperates with police

Now Facebook responds in a long email that they take the situation seriously.

The company, which also owns Instagram, writes that the work of stopping the spread of violent content is ongoing.

- We have removed several accounts that offer to share content about his death in exchange for likes and shares.

We will also delete content - both posts and comments - that advocates or glorifies violence, because it is against our rules, writes Camilla Nordsted, communications manager for Facebook in the Nordics.

In order to be able to clean up the massive flow of information, AI is used in combination with employees who search for and delete inappropriate content.

Camilla Nordsted also writes that Facebook is cooperating with the police on the case.

- We have contact with the police in Sweden about this case, and will respond to the legal inquiries we receive.

But the criminal charges continue: "Insta does not make a smack"

When Kulturnyheterna does a new check on October 28, however, theories about named perpetrators and underlying motives remain in several large accounts, well visible to even the wider audience who do not actively seek out these rumors.

Among the comments are also those who praise the murder and advocate violence.

Several fans mourning the murder urge each other to report the comments, which continue to pour in.

A user expresses resentment over the situation: "I report so my fingers turn blue, but Insta does not make a smack."
