Despite dozens of advertisements disseminated, the house of Santa Claus in Saint-Blaise, in Haute-Savoie, lacks manpower.

The man dressed in red then launches a call himself to find elves.

"Currently, we need a little help and we are looking, in all areas, little elves that we would be very pleasant to teach," he explained in front of the cameras of TF1.

250,000 visitors per year

About thirty companions of Santa Claus are wanted.

So, to already welcome visitors during the All Saints holidays, the association which manages this tourist place was able to count on volunteers but also recruited urgently students.

For the director of the Grand Parc d'Andilly, in which the Hameau du Père Noël is located, seasonal workers are not ready to invest on weekends: “As a general rule, for many, Saturday and Sunday are days of rest and leisure.

We miss family meals, outings, lunches with friends, etc.… But if we want leisure, there must also be people who hold these leisure activities ”.

The house of Santa Claus welcomes 250,000 visitors each year.
