He started to study cello at the age of 4 and went to Europe to study at the age of 17. He has studied with famous teachers in 4 famous music conservatories in Graz, Vienna, Cologne, and Zurich, Switzerland, and graduated with the best grades.

  He is the first Chinese life member of the Swiss St. Gallen Symphony Orchestra. He has won awards in many international music competitions such as the Austrian Brahms International Music Competition and the Croatian Jan Nigro International Cello Competition.

  He said that music is a ray of light in life.
