Global Village begins welcoming its guests

Global Village, the region's first and most prominent family destination for culture, shopping and entertainment, began yesterday to welcome its guests as it opened its doors to mark the start of its 26th season, where its guests can enjoy the latest new entertainment additions, including more than 15 new theatrical performances, and taste delicious cuisine. New ways of presenting and experiencing the most wonderful shopping experiences in the region.

Global Village CEO Badr Anwahi said: “We welcome our guests at the beginning of the new season of Global Village with full readiness and preparations, and we invite everyone to enjoy with us from the heart of the world of masterpieces with all that is new and distinctive.”

Global Village has been keen to enhance the capacity plan to increase the number of guests expected this season by adding more than 2500 square meters of corridors and streets, increasing seating areas, and many places to enjoy dining with many additions and landmarks that will form wonderful photography stations for guests.

The entertainment management team at the destination added more than 15 new theatrical shows to the entertainment calendar, in addition to creating the first exciting show featuring water stunts in the region under the slogan “The Thriller Show: Harbor Heroes.”

This season, the destination also welcomes the joining of its partners and entrepreneurs who represent at least 80 cultures from around the world, and the 26 pavilions shine this season with new facades and a vibrant atmosphere within its cultural offerings, while hosting the all-new Iraq pavilion.

Guests will be able to discover the most amazing shopping experiences through more than 3,500 outlets of shops.

Global Village receives its guests daily in its new season from Saturday to Wednesday from 4 pm until 12 midnight, and on Thursdays, Fridays and public holidays from 4 pm until 1 am.

Entry gates close half an hour before the closing time of the Global Village, which is reserved for families and women only on Mondays, unless it coincides with an official holiday.
