The cooking corner at "Sharjah Book" .. International tastes presented by 11 chefs

The 40th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, which will be held from 3-13 November at the Expo Center Sharjah, will host eleven of the most famous chefs, presenters and cookbook authors from 10 countries from around the world.

The guest chefs will present 30 live cooking activities within the Cooking Corner program, which aims to introduce diverse cultural experiences and contribute to the promotion of civilizational dialogue by presenting a range of traditional international dishes that are part of the history and national heritage of peoples.

The list of participating chefs this year includes culinary expert Lina Saad from Lebanon, the three-time winner of the "Gourmand International Award for Cookbooks";

And Chef Roya Saleh from Bahrain, who is the owner of “Villa Mamas” restaurant, the first restaurant to serve Bahraini and Gulf cuisine to the world.

From Syria, Chef Zina Aboud is participating this year, the first Syrian immigrant woman to open her own restaurant in the Netherlands. Her first book was published in 2018;

Besides the culinary expert, Malekah Jazmati, who had her start on a TV show in Jordan, and currently lives in Berlin, where she runs her own restaurant, and serves her food to VIPs and art stars.

Also hosting from India is Chef Kunal Kapoor, a multi-award winning chef who trains unemployed youth in the culinary arts;

and Shonali Spirual, a microbiotic diet expert and author of three books on nutrition and its role in boosting immunity.

Also participating in the exhibition is Korean-American nutritionist and entrepreneur Judy Jo, who hosts a special TV program called “Simplifying Cooking Korean Food”;

Along with celebrity chef Chef Shersun Lian from Malaysia who presented the famous “The Amazing Cooking Challenge” program along with other TV shows.

From the United Kingdom, Chef Ravenette Gill presents the most famous dishes and showcases her pastry-making experience gained over the course of eight years;

Besides Chef Becky Axel, she specializes in gluten-free foods and has more than 300,000 followers on social media;

While nutrition consultant Camila Loy from Spain, presents her experience and unique approach to cooking, which is based on the highest quality ingredients.

The 2021 Sharjah International Book Fair offers visitors the opportunity to get their favorite cookbooks signed by guest culinary experts, which include a wide variety of world-famous dishes and recipes.
