A wedding that was supposed to be an occasion for meeting and joy, in the Syrian city of Homs, turned into a tragedy that caused the death of more than 4 people, after a violent quarrel erupted between the two families, which developed into a mass quarrel in which firearms were used.
Al-Watan Online confirmed that a dispute between two families escalated into a mass quarrel in which firearms were used, during a wedding ceremony in the village of Al-Aziziyah, located near the Homs refinery in the western countryside.
The source pointed out that the dispute arose at first between the children of the two families, which resulted in 4 deaths from both families, including two children, one of whom is 13 years old, in addition to causing the injury of two other people as a result of the shooting.
He added that the police and security units went to the place as soon as they were informed of the outbreak of the quarrel and worked to maintain order in the village and helped the injured, pointing out that investigations are currently underway to find out the circumstances of the incident.
