The world health summit opened in Berlin this Sunday, it is being held until Tuesday. A summit that takes on a particular dimension in this second year of the Covid-19 epidemic. Emmanuel Macron is expected there, he wants to insist on the collective aspect in the face of future health challenges to "level the inequalities".

6,000 participants and 300 face-to-face or remote speakers. This international summit is undoubtedly the most important of the moment, underlines the German press on Sunday. Until Tuesday, 72 round tables will allow doctors from around the world, but also actors in health policy and economics, to discuss many topics. And not just the Covid-19. In particular, it is planned to shed light on obstetrics problems at the global level. The summit will also be an opportunity to take stock of the management of the coronavirus pandemic and draw the first consequences, from the screening stage to the vaccination stage.
