Egyptian Iftaa: Women are not allowed to wear pants in 3 cases!

The Secretary of the Fatwa and the Director of the Sharia Research Department at the Egyptian Dar Al-Iftaa, Dr. Ahmed Mamdouh, said that the ruling on women wearing pants differs between permissible and forbidden, and depends on the shape of the pants.

The Director of the Sharia Research Department of the Egyptian Dar Al-Iftaa indicated on the official Dar Al-Iftaa page on Facebook, during his answer to a question by a woman who asked about wearing pants, is it haram or halal, he indicated that it is not permissible for a woman to wear pants in 3 cases: Tight and if the trousers reveal the nakedness, and if the trousers are detailed to the body, and the Dar Al-Iftaa confirmed that violating these conditions makes girls wearing trousers forbidden by Sharia.

The Secretary of the Fatwa added that "if the pants are loose and do not reveal the woman's body, then it is permissible for her to wear them, and it is not forbidden for her to do so."
