  According to the monitoring of the Meteorological Department, the tropical disturbance in the southern waters of the South China Sea has developed into a tropical depression at 14:00 on the 24th. At 14:00, its center is located on the surface of the South China Sea about 840 kilometers southeast of Yongxing Island in Sansha City. The maximum wind force near the center is Level 6 (12 m/s).

  The Hainan Meteorological Observatory predicts that the tropical depression will move westward at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will slowly increase.
