This graffiti was found on Thursday on the door of the boys' toilets at Gustave-Jaume high school in Pierrelatte in the Drôme, reports France Bleu Drôme Ardèche.
Erased in the wake, this extremely threatening tag was discovered the week following the tributes to Samuel Paty.
The history-geography teacher was beheaded a year ago near his high school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, for showing caricatures of Mohammed in progress.
Next to the inscription, one could read on another tag "Fuck the Islamophobes".
The principal lodged a complaint.
"The best way to deal is to inform, it is for everyone to be alert," said academic director Pascal Clément in a message that was sent internally to the staff of the establishment.
"We do not know the degree of veracity of the subject," he added to explain that threats written by one or more young people who do not necessarily reflect intentions.
It is nevertheless in this same high school that a hooded individual broke into a class in full course last Tuesday and threw a chair in the direction of a teacher, who had been able to avoid it.
The investigation has not yet determined whether it was a student or an outside individual.
The principal had also lodged a complaint there and the teachers had met to think about solutions in the face of "a deterioration of school life".
