This summer, the world's largest gaming company, Activision Blizzard, was sued by the state of California in the USA for discriminating against people because of their gender and skin color.

The gaming company, which is behind popular games such as World of Warcraft and Call of Duty, has in an extensive investigation been accused of having created a sexist work culture that responsible managers are aware of.

In August, hundreds of employees went on strike after Activision Blizzard dismissed the criticism, and several executives were subsequently fired.

It is now clear that another 20 employees have been laid off, reports Financial Times.

In an internal letter from the management to the employees, which has now been published to the public, the company also states that they have taken disciplinary measures for more than 20 people, who have received various types of reprimands.

Activision Blizzard's management writes that they will implement a number of changes to increase safety and improve the work environment for employees, among other things by expanding their HR department.

But dissatisfaction among employees can persist.

In connection with the strike, employees at Activision Blizzard also demanded more diversity among employees and transparency regarding pay differences between women and men, something that the company has not yet met, according to Financial times.

Activision Blizzard states that the company will make more changes in the future.
