Honoré de Balzac is a superstar this fall in France.

Illusions perdues

, one of his most famous novels, is currently being adapted at the Théâtre de la Bastille in Paris.

And this same book is brought to the screen by Xavier Giannoli.

The film is released in theaters this Wednesday, October 20, after a selection in competition at the Venice Film Festival.
