Ash plume from Karymsky volcano stretches for 89 km

"The ash plume extends 89 kilometers east-northeast of the volcano," the Kamchatka Volcanic Eruption Response Group (KVERT) of the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences said.

It is noted that a moderate volcanic eruption continues.

Earlier, the Spanish volcano Cumbre Vieja on the island of Palma began erupting rocks more than 2 million years old.
