Poles are calling on other EU member states to oppose the Brussels usurpers.

At the same time, in fact, the usurper is precisely Warsaw, which is trying to destroy the European Union in its present form.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki decided to write a letter. And not to anyone, but to their colleagues from among the heads of government and leaders of the EU member states. In it, Pan Moravetsky complains about the arbitrariness of the European bureaucrats and says where these bad people are dragging their common wonderful union of free European states. “I would like to cause your concern and draw your attention to an extremely dangerous phenomenon that threatens the future of our union. I mean the gradual transformation of the union into a single whole, which will cease to be a union of free, equal and sovereign states and will become a single centrally controlled organism - governed by institutions devoid of democratic control by the citizens of European countries, the prime minister writes. - Unfortunately, today we are dealing with a very dangerous phenomenon, when some institutions of the European Union usurp powers that they do not have under the Treaties and impose their will on the member states. "

By "member states" Poles, of course, mean themselves loved ones. The fact is that for several years now the European Union has been demanding from Poland to comply with the common European norms and principles of behavior, including those that contradict the conservative-religious principles of the Law and Justice party now ruling in the country. For example, the Poles are demanded to allow gay propaganda, to accept Muslim migrants, to stop the attempts of the executive and legislative powers on the judiciary. In Warsaw, these demands are sent by the Brussels forests - Polish municipalities create on their territories "zones free of LGBT people" (where relevant propaganda, including gay pride parades, is prohibited), refuse to accept migrants (as from EU countries - within the framework of a fair policy. distribution between member countries and from neighboring Belarus, from the territory of which the citizens of Iraq and Syria are trying to illegally cross the border), and also adopt the so-called muzzle law, according to which the judges are now controlled by the Polish Sejm.

The cherry on top of the cake thrown in the face of the European Union was the recent decision of the Constitutional Court of Poland, which declared illegal a number of provisions of the Lisbon Treaty (the founding document of the EU). Including the paragraph that speaks of the priority of the decisions of the European Union over the national legislation of the member states. In response, Paris announced “Poland's attack on the European Union,” and Brussels, offended in the best feelings, is now thinking about imposing sanctions against Warsaw (for example, reducing or ending a number of subsidies). Therefore, the Polish leadership decided to appeal directly to the EU countries. With such a thick hint that today the European Union begins to train the Poles, and tomorrow it will take on another freedom-loving state. “If we do not stop this phenomenon, everyone will feel its negative consequences. Today it may concern one country, tomorrow under a different pretext - a different one, ”says Mateusz Morawiecki.

At first glance, the struggle of the Polish Davidov against Goliath in the person of the European Commission and the Brussels bureaucrats looks noble, romantic, and to some extent it is even close to the Russians.

After all, the Poles are fighting for sovereignty against the Euroglobalists, while Russia is fighting for the same sovereignty - indeed, at a higher level, against the Western globalists who are trying to tell us how to live, what to talk about, who to sleep with and whom to choose.

Poles are fighting for their conservative values, just like us.

Finally, the Poles are simply fighting - while in Russia they still respect those who are not ready to go submissively into the twilight of death.

However, for all the external similarity and romance, Poland's position in the conflict with the EU can never be compared with Russia's battle against the global liberal order. So, for example, Moscow does not owe anything to any of the globalists, it does not go across its word and obligations. And Poland is moving, because under the Lisbon Treaty (which designated the priority of European legislation over national) is the signature of the then Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The current Polish authorities can say as much as they like that Tusk is a national traitor, a European lackey, a liberal fundamentalist, but the talk does not cancel the legality of the signature.

Signature, due to which Poland (just joined the EU) received tens of billions of euros in subsidies from other member states. And this is without taking into account the benefits of being in a single economic space. Is anyone in Warsaw going to return these funds to the European Union? Never. In this regard, the Poles resemble not so much the Russians as our neighbors from the Baltic states. The Soviet Union took over the countries there, created the entire economy there - and now the Baltic elites are rushing Moscow around every corner, demanding compensation for the "occupation", but they are not going to return the investments.

In this regard, Polish arrogance is explained not only by the gentry model of behavior. The point is that Poland, in principle, does not like the concept of a united Europe and European integration as such. Poles (like most of the peoples of Eastern Europe who still live within the framework of national consciousness) do not have an understanding of common European identity. In Poland's understanding, the EU is not a single cultural, economic and political space (which, in theory, any integration group should move towards), but only a source of benefits. Therefore, the Poles have long taken an anti-EU position. Together with a number of states (primarily Eastern European), they advocate that the European Union should not be a centralized integration association, even if sovereign countries, but simply a club of interests. Spacefrom which Poland can draw subsidies, from which it can sell its goods duty-free, but at the same time it owes nothing.

That is, Warsaw sees the EU as a kind of buffet, from which, in the words of Vladimir Putin, it takes only those dishes that it likes.

Unfortunately, the supporters of this idea have been dealt two very serious blows in recent years.

First, a state that was the nominal leader of the anti-European forces, Great Britain, left the European Union.

Then they lost a significant part of external support: in place of US President Donald Trump (who was trying to weaken the EU as much as possible), Joseph Biden came to the White House, restoring relations with Germany and the European Union as a whole.

And now only Hungary is openly ready to support Poland's theses - the other allies are hiding and looking to see how the matter will end.

Therefore, Moravetsky only has to write letters.
