Faced with the surge in Covid-19 cases, Moscow has ordered its first health restrictions since the summer.

The decision comes after a record number of contaminations and deaths in the country in 24 hours, for the fifth consecutive day.

The authorities of the Russian capital have thus announced the confinement of all unvaccinated over 60s from October 25 to February 25, compulsory vaccination by January 1, 2022 for 80% of service employees, against 60% currently, as well as the teleworking of “at least 30%” of company staff.
