Meghan's father asks to see his grandsons Archie

Thomas Markle has pleaded with his daughter Meghan and son-in-law Prince Harry to let him see his two grandchildren, calling on them in an interview with ITV to reconcile with accusing them that they only care about money.

"We both have to grow up a little bit and talk to each other and make up for the good of the children and for ourselves," Thomas Markle, 77, said in an interview with the Good Morning Britain program from Mexico.

About his grandsons Archie (two years) and Lilipet (four months), Thomas Markle, who lives in the Mexican city of Rosarito, said, "They have two loving families, and their paternal grandmother is the Queen of England... They will grow up and want to know more" about their grandparents.

Meghan Markle separated from her father before her marriage in May 2018, an event that Thomas Markle missed due to health issues.

He has previously appeared in paid photos of celebrity photo hunters, which did not appeal to the couple.

Thomas Markle has never met Prince Harry or his grandchildren.

Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, have also moved away from the British royal family and have been living in California since March 2020 with their two children.

Thomas Markle accused the couple, who are financially independent from the royal family and signed contracts of huge sums to participate in documentaries or podcasts, of "caring only about money."
