The Russian team that shot the first film in space has been back on Earth for 48 hours.

Now that the doctors have checked their physical condition, the director Klim Chipenko and the actress Yulia Peressild gave their first press conference just now on her 12 days of filming among the stars.

The latter anticipated the American project with Tom Cruise.

The trip was grueling.

The actress also played the role of makeup artist, but they are very proud of them… and for good reason: they have more images than expected, the director even started filming before arriving aboard the ISS.

Klim Chipenko has also adapted to his very special shooting conditions: “

Scenes that I imagined on Earth were done differently, for example when we find ourselves in the cosmos we understand that it is quite natural to be meet not face to face, but one with the head up and the other with the head down.

"

Successful communication operation

They also slept very little, but that, the star of patriotic films Yulia Peressild prefers to joke: “

For girls, sleeping in space, it's great: no trace of cushion on the face ... but if I am serious! And then in our film, we say this sentence: an hour of sleep in space is worth two hours on Earth. Well, it's absolutely true, in four hours I had had enough sleep and it got a lot more to me!

"

The team is delighted while having made a first.

The communication operation is successful for the Russian space agency Roscosmos.

The agency is in great need of it following corruption scandals and technical breakdowns that have tarnished its reputation.

The film, provisionally titled

The Challenge

, will feature a surgeon going aboard the ISS with the mission of saving the life of a cosmonaut.
