The two have filmed parts of a feature film on the International Space Station (ISS) and are thus the first to record film in space.

Together with cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, they left the ISS a few minutes after 2 am, Swedish time, to travel to Earth.

Behind them leave the seven people on the ISS, some of whom were extras during the filming of some scenes.

The film itself is about a surgeon who is sent to space to save an astronaut.

With the filming, the Russian film team had time before Hollywood.

Last year, actor Tom Cruise, along with Nasa and Elon Musk's space company Space X, was told to plan a similar space shoot.
