The Meteorological Observatory announced that it had observed the first snowfall after confirming that the area near the summit of Mt. Zao was covered with white snow around 7 am on the 18th.
The first snowfall on Mt. Zao was 10 days earlier than normal and 7 days earlier than last year.
The prefecture is expected to be sunny on the 18th, but the temperature does not rise so much due to the cold air, and the maximum temperature during the day is
