Affected by the strong cold air, China’s East China Sea has experienced high winds and waves in the last two days. On the night of the 16th, a fishing boat sank and 13 people lost contact.

The East China Sea Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport sent professional rescuers to the rescue after receiving the information about the danger. So far, 2 people have been rescued, and 11 people are still missing. The search and rescue work is still in progress.

  Affected by wind and waves, on the night of October 16, a fishing boat sank about 120 nautical miles northeast of the Yangtze River estuary and 13 crew members lost contact.

The East China Sea Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport immediately dispatched rescue boats to search and rescue in the sea area where the incident occurred. On the morning of the 17th, rescue helicopters joined the search and rescue.

At 7:40 on the 17th, the rescue helicopter B-7356 of the East China Sea Rescue Bureau arrived at the scene. The crew found that the fishing boat in distress had completely sunk and found two crew members floating in the sea nearby. The "Donghai Rescue 101" ship searched and rescued nearby.

After receiving the instruction, the "Donghai Rescue 101" ship approached the crew in distress at full speed. After intensive work, the rescuers rescued the two crew members who fell into the water.

At present, 11 crew members are still missing, and search and rescue are still underway.
