On October 16, aerial photography of the aqueduct constructed in the Laxiwa Irrigation Project in Guide County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province.

The project is a key national project supporting the economic and social development of Tibet-related areas during the 12th Five-Year Plan period and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The project makes full use of the good water potential of the Laxiwa Hydropower Station in the county, and introduces the water storage of the Laxiwa Hydropower Station into the irrigation area through 52.3 kilometers of channels, tunnels, aqueducts, inverted siphons and other water conservancy facilities. The shift from water-lifting irrigation to artesian irrigation has benefited more than 80,000 people in Guide County. The irrigation area of ​​the Yellow River Valley on the south bank of Guide County has been improved and increased by 202,000 mu.
