At 5:10 am on October 15, a 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Aluhorqin Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia.
After the earthquake, the Aluhorqin Banner Fire Rescue Brigade arrived at the scene as soon as possible to carry out rescue operations and investigate dangerous situations.
The State Grid Mengdong Electric Power Company immediately launched the "Earthquake Emergency Plan" and organized personnel to conduct emergency inspections of the power grid and investigation of hidden dangers to ensure earthquake emergency response and power consumption for the people's livelihood.
Up to now, there have been minor cracks in a small number of houses in Xinmin Township, Kundu Town, Saihan Tala Sum and other places in Alu Horqin Banner, and no casualties have been confirmed.
At present, the local people are emotionally stable and social order is normal.
