Regarding the physiological characteristics of female astronauts, such as menstrual problems, Pang Zhihao said that practice has shown that female astronauts have normal menstruation in space, but spacewalking during menstruation is prone to decompression sickness. Therefore, spacewalking is generally not performed during menstruation.
