The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office has dismissed a former resident woman who was arrested for abandoning a man's body in an apartment room in Adachi-ku, Tokyo.

In July, a skeletonized man's body was found in a room in an apartment in Adachi Ward before the demolition work, and an 81-year-old woman who lived in this room was arrested on suspicion of abandoning the body.



According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, he told the investigation that "the body was a former husband and he could not afford the funeral expenses because he had no money."



As a result of the investigation, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office has dismissed the woman by the 15th.



The prosecution has not disclosed the reason for the disposition.
