A 51-year-old man and his parents were killed by being stabbed with a knife in a house in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture on the 13th. I learned from an interview with the police.

On the evening of the 13th, at a house in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, Kenichi Iwata (51), his father Tomoyoshi (80), and his mother Aiko (80) were stabbed with a knife and killed by the police. Re-arrested Kenichi's former colleague, Satoshi Kono (53), who has an unspecified address and is unemployed, on the 15th on suspicion of murdering Tomoyoshi, and sent him to the Matsuyama District Public Prosecutors Office.

According to police, Tomoyoshi has been stabbed in multiple places such as the chest and abdomen, and Kono admits to the investigation.

Subsequent investigations revealed that the suspect was believed to have stabbed three people one after another in a matter of minutes, according to police interviews.

After 5:30 pm on the 13th, my mother, Aiko, made a 110th call saying, "A man who came in front of me is crying," and when police officers rushed in, three people had already collapsed. Ten minutes later, he arrested a suspect who was on the scene with a knife.

Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the incident.
