A serious water crisis is looming

While states do not invest enough, research is developing with the creation of one of the world's largest research centers now based in Montpellier.

400 scientists and nearly 150 doctoral students work there and focus in particular on the most vulnerable regions by responding to the challenges linked to rapid urbanization, growing demographic pressure and the expected effects of climate change.
