Zimbabwe contestant Michael Mubaiwa and African aid doctor Huang Shiyong won special prizes in the video and photo groups for their works "African Boy and Guqin" and "Guardian" respectively.

  According to reports, this competition was jointly sponsored by the Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and the China Foreign Languages ​​Bureau.

In order to cooperate with the Dakar meeting of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation held in Senegal during the year, and to strengthen cultural exchanges between China and Africa, the competition is actively soliciting short videos, micro videos, and photo works for Chinese and African people and institutions.

  The contest was promoted to more than 40 African countries, and the total number of online views of the entries exceeded 40 million.

In the end, more than 2,500 valid works were collected, of which more than 60% were submitted by African contestants.

The contestants recorded the "true, close and sincere" Sino-African friendship with the lens.

  The award ceremony was held in Beijing, Johannesburg, and Dakar at the same time, and the three competition areas were connected in real time to share the grand prize presentation with each other.
