After the Decepticon roller coaster broke down, it stopped on the track.

Yesterday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the Decepticon roller coaster in Universal Studios broke down during operation. After the roller coaster stopped on the track for 10 minutes, the tourists were evacuated from the maintenance ladder next to the track under the leadership of the staff.

The tourists on the broken down car have lingering fears. They think that as the most popular amusement project in Universal Studios, the park should pay attention to safety issues.

Yesterday at noon, Ms. Lin and her friends came to Universal Studios.

As soon as they entered the park, they went straight to the Decepticon roller coaster.

"We started queuing just after 1:00, and mobile phones and other personal belongings were handed in at that time. About an hour after queuing, we got on the roller coaster." Ms. Lin said, during the intense and exciting experience. , When the roller coaster reached a buffer zone in the middle of the track, it suddenly stopped.

"Because there is a downhill not far ahead, the speed of the car will also increase. We all thought the roller coaster would suddenly accelerate. But after stopping for a few minutes, the roller coaster remained motionless, and some tourists began to wonder if it was malfunctioning."

At this moment, two staff members stepped onto the track from the maintenance ladder on the side and told more than 30 tourists on the roller coaster that the roller coaster would start soon.

However, 2 minutes later, another 8 staff members came up from the maintenance ladder.

"Sorry, the facility has broken down, we will take everyone away." said one of the staff members.

Immediately afterwards, these staff members unlocked the safety equipment on the tourists one after another, and brought the tourists row by row from the back of the car to the ground through the maintenance ladder.

Ms. Lin recalled that the roller coaster stopped on the track for about 10 minutes, and the parking position was more than ten meters above the ground. Fortunately, the roller coaster was parked in a buffer zone at that time, and the trapped tourists kept their normal sitting posture.

Ms. Lin, who walked back to the ground, found that two other staff members were standing under the maintenance ladder.

Ms. Lin said: “Every tourist who walked down got a speed pass for a single item at Universal Studios that day. Later I asked them what the cause of the malfunction was, and they also hesitated to say that it was not clear.”

Ms. Lin retrieved her mobile phone at 2:30 in the afternoon.

An hour later, when she passed the Decepticon roller coaster again, she found that the project was already operating normally.

Ms. Lin believes that as a popular amusement project in Universal Studios, the park should pay more attention to the safety of equipment to avoid similar phenomena.

As of now, Universal Studios has not issued an announcement regarding this failure.
