The strongest cold air in the second half of the year!

Locally reach the cold wave standard

Not long ago, a medium-intensity cold air made many parts of the country experience a strong autumn.

And the coming new round of cold air will make the temperature in the central and eastern regions "cliff-like" drop.

According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, affected by the relatively strong cold air, from the night of the 13th to the 17th, most of the central and eastern parts of China will experience strong winds and cooling from north to south.

Among them, from the night of the 13th to the 15th, there were winds of 4 to 6 in most of the central and eastern parts of Inner Mongolia and the northeast. The daily average temperature or minimum temperature in most areas dropped by 6 to 10℃, and the northeast of Inner Mongolia, the western and eastern parts of Heilongjiang Cool down by 10~12℃.

According to Zhang Fanghua, chief forecaster of the Central Meteorological Observatory, the temperature drop in central and eastern Inner Mongolia, the northeast, northern and eastern North China, eastern Huanghuai, Jianghuai, and northeastern Jiangnan can reach 10 to 14°C, and the local temperature drop can reach 14°C or more. Some areas mentioned above can reach the cold wave standard.

On the morning of the 17th, the 0℃ line of minimum temperature was located in southern Gansu, northern Shaanxi, central and southern Shanxi, central Hebei, and Beijing.

There will be strong winds to cool Beijing from the 15th to the 16th. The highest temperature during the day will drop to 13°C on the 16th, and the lowest temperature at night may be only 2°C.

It should be noted that in Shanxi, Shaanxi and other areas affected by flood disasters, the temperature drop can reach 6-10°C, and light snow or sleet may appear in high-altitude areas, and work should be done to prevent cold, warm and rain.

Frequent cold air activities where the lowest temperature reaches freezing point

Since October, cold air activities affecting our country have been frequent.

Around the 19th, there will also be a weak cold air affecting northern China.

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that before October 24, the temperature in most parts of my country will be significantly lower than normal, including the eastern part of Northwest China, southern North China, southern Northeast China, Sichuan Basin, Huanghuai, Jianghan, western Jiangnan, and parts of Guizhou. The temperature can be as low as 3~4℃.

After the 25th, the power of the cold air has weakened, and the temperature has risen in stages. The temperature in Xinjiang and Northeast China is slightly higher than that of the same period of normal years, and the temperature in most of the rest of my country is slightly lower.

Meteorological experts reminded that after the cold air, the minimum temperature in central and southern Shanxi, northern Shaanxi, and southern Gansu will drop below 0°C.

In addition, since September, most of the northern regions have had more precipitation. Among them, the eastern part of Northwest China, North China, Huanghuai and other places have 1 to 2 times more precipitation than the same period in normal years, and Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Henan and other local areas have more precipitation4 The autumn flood situation is severe, and the above-mentioned areas need to guard against geological disasters, urban and rural waterlogging, and farmland waterlogging that may be caused by overlapping rainfall areas.
