The Medjerda is the main river in Tunisia, it supplies more than a third of the population with drinking water.

It is also used for agriculture and industry.

But today human activities threaten the Medjerda.

In some places the river has taken on a brown hue and fills the air with a foul odor.

The analyzes all show a flagrant violation of Tunisian as well as international standards.
