10 years ago, there was a 'gum-selling boy' who made Korea wet with tears.

It was Choi Seong-bong, a young man who escaped the orphanage when he was 5 years old because he could not stand the violence and went around the streets selling gum.

Through 'Korea's Got Talent', he was called 'Korea's Pol Potts' and attracted global attention.

It is known that donations of 300 million won have been collected after the broadcast.

Seongbong Choi is back in 2021.

This time, I was in the shape of a singer who was unlucky to live a life of limited life due to colorectal cancer.

Choi Seong-bong, who said 'I want to sing' in a patient uniform, once again received warm attention.

Choi Seong-bong, who appeared on KBS's 'Immortal Song' last month, said, "I've gone through the hurdles of death many times, so I'll live, so you too."

When 'Gumboy Boy' returned to 'Definite Youth' after 10 years, viewers expressed regret, saying, "The sky is indifferent."

Choi Seong-bong, the protagonist of a story more like a movie than a movie, starts cloud funding with a goal of 1 billion won through a site. Including fan cafes, overseas sites, and personal sponsorship, it is said that close to 100 million won was raised.

From that time on, a voice of suspicion came out little by little. The colorectal cancer had metastasized to other organs, but Choi Seong-bong did not even go to the hospital. The patient clothes worn at the time of filming the cloud funding poster turned out to be patient uniforms that were commonly available at online shopping malls.

Crucially, the two diagnoses that Choi Seong-bong released as 'unpleasant' were all false. It was a medical certificate full of errors that did not match the disease name and code. Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, where Choi Seong-bong was diagnosed with cancer and had repeated surgeries and hospitalizations, also officially announced that there was no record of Choi Seong-bong receiving cancer treatment at this hospital for the past three years.

Before the case got so big, the reporters suggested, "Let's go to the hospital together and verify the authenticity of the diagnosis," but Choi Seong-bong refused. In response to the reporter's advice, "It is courage to confess the truth first when you can turn it back," Choi Seong-bong did not give up until the end, saying, "What can I gain from lying?"

Choi Seong-bong made a commotion in a live broadcast on the 12th as if he was going to make an extreme choice. Rescue workers arrived and the riot was over. Choi Seong-bong's words, 'I live, you live too', who gave strength to people in difficult situations, were nowhere to be found.

On the same day, Seongbong Choi posted an ambiguous statement on the fan cafe saying, "I'm sorry for causing a stir." With the current balance of about 60,000 won, the donation you sent me will be returned even if it takes time.

He was disappointed by the fans who sincerely supported him.

Public broadcasting KBS, which believed only in Choi Seong-bong's words and sent him out as a terminally ill cancer patient, please check the performer verification system again.

I hope that some media outlets that caused confusion by reporting that the false injury certificate sent by Choi Seong-bong, which did not even have the hospital seal, as a cancer diagnosis, will reflect on their own actions.

On the one hand, I am glad that Seongbong Choi is not a terminally ill patient.

Separately, fans are waiting for Choi Seong-bong to properly confess the truth.

Fans who sent donations by dividing pocket money, part-time work expenses, and living expenses are hoping that Choi Seong-bong will show his sincerity rather than an excuse to appeal to his emotions.
