2-step, or 2-step Garage, is a British music genre that was trendy around the turn of the millennium.

One of the big names in the genre is Craig David, who around the 2000s released hits such as Walking away and 7 Days.

Now hip-hop artist Adaam and r'n'b artist Simeon are picking up the old British trend.

- I am a very big Craig David fan and it made me want to jump on the bandwagon and do it even more, says Simeon.

"Tagged by it was 2-step"

2-step is electronic music that is characterized by the rhythm not following four beats, unlike other electronic music such as house and techno.

Adaam says that Simeon had already started recording the song when he first heard it.

He admits that he does not know Craig David but says that he was pissed when he heard the song for the first time.

- I just got even more tagged because it was 2-step and I think it sounds fat.

I have never been such a big fan of 2-step but today's 2-step I think sounds national fat, he says.
