[Explanation] On October 11, the reporter learned from the press conference of the Beijing Division of the "Meet in Beijing" series of winter sports events that the Capital Gymnasium will successively host the "Meet in Beijing" 2021/2022 Asian Figure Skating Open and 2021/2022 this month. The ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup is also the first international event to be held after the Capital Gymnasium has been renovated.
The figure skating and short track speed skating events held this time are influential and popular events. Among them, the ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup is the world’s top event and a qualifying event for the Beijing Winter Olympics. The International Olympic Committee pays great attention .

The 2021/2022 Short Track Speed Skating World Cup will be held from October 21 to 24, 2021. This competition is also a qualifying event for the 2022 Winter Olympics. The short track speed skating competition is related to the qualifications for the Olympic Games. There are many immigrants. The competition has high requirements and heavy support tasks. At the same time, the preparations for the Beijing Winter Olympics are tested, which has attracted great attention from all aspects.

At the same time, the two events held by the Capital Gymnasium will be benchmarked against the Winter Olympics, using the timing and scoring system for the Winter Olympics.

In 2008, it was once the venue for the Beijing Olympics volleyball competition.
At the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022, it will also undertake short-track speed skating and figure skating projects and become a "double Olympic venue".
