The eight-year-old girl who was missing in the Bohemian Forest has been found.
This was confirmed by the Upper Palatinate police headquarters on Tuesday.
"She is alive, she is hypothermic and has been taken to the hospital," said a spokesman.
Helpers in the Czech Republic discovered the child near Ceska Kubice.
The Czech newspaper “Pravo” had previously reported in its online edition, citing “two trustworthy sources”, that the girl had been found at Ceska Kubice's.
This was also confirmed by the Czech police.
According to the police, around 1,400 emergency services from the Czech Republic and Germany went to look for her in the Bavarian-Czech border area.
In addition, there were 115 search dogs, police helicopters and drones, as announced by the Upper Palatinate police headquarters.
The eight-year-old from Berlin disappeared late on Sunday afternoon while hiking with her family in the Bavarian-Czech border area.
The parents had lost sight of the girl, his brother and a cousin and called the rescue workers.

The girl remained missing and has since been wanted in the rocky, densely vegetated area between the cities of Waldmünchen, Furth im Wald and Domazlice.
